Block M Records is a recording label that supports the University of Michigan faculty, staff and students through distribution of recordings. Our repertoire is performed, recorded, and produced by University of Michigan faculty, staff and students. The primary dissemination format for our music is by internet streaming or fee-for-download.

We share with you selected snapshots of all of the exciting music-making that occurs on our campus every day. Whether we’re performing in immense concert halls or state-of-the-art recording studios, our audio engineers work closely with our performers and composers to ensure the impeccable artistic excellence you’ve come to associate with the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance.

Block M Records provides an extraordinary opportunity for our faculty, staff and students to work collaboratively on publication. Our faculty tirelessly coach our performers and mentor our audio engineers to ensure the best possible quality for our recordings.
